Frequently asked questions
Save a PDF to Files
If “Update needed” appears in PDF Preview, tap “Update PDF” first. Then choose “Save or Share PDF” → “Save to Files,” select a location, and save.
You can reopen a version after saving or sharing it in “PDF History.” Previous versions are read-only, and “Save or Share Again” exports the same file.
How do I change the app and PDF languages?
In iPhone Settings, select Korean or English as this app’s language. You can choose the PDF language separately under “PDF Language” in the report’s “Edit Info” screen.
After changing the PDF language, tap “Update PDF.” If prompted to check frame placement, review frame positions and sizes before updating. Files already saved in PDF History do not change.
Report titles and descriptions you enter are not translated automatically.
Fill or resize a photo frame
In PDF Preview, open “Edit Layout” and tap “Add Photo Frame.” Tap an empty frame to take or select a photo. Select the frame and drag its bottom-right handle to resize it.
The app preserves the photo’s aspect ratio and adjusts the frame to respect page margins, other elements, and the minimum size. Use “Undo” to reverse the last adjustment. After finishing your edits, update the PDF to apply them to the file. Empty frames must be filled with photos or deleted before you can update the PDF.
If the camera or photo picker is not working
If you denied camera permission, check the app’s camera permission in iPhone Settings. You can also cancel the camera and fill the frame using “Choose Photo.”
Photos stored only in iCloud may need a network connection. Check that the photo opens in the Photos app, then select it again. If your device is low on storage, free up space and retry.
If adding photos was interrupted
Reopen the app and check the recovery notice. You can also retry using “Recover & Clean Up Photos” in the More menu. Recovery uses photo copies that finished copying into the app and their recovery records.
This feature cannot restore data lost by deleting the app or losing the device. Do not delete the app before investigating a problem. First check your important PDFs and device backups.
Before changing devices or deleting the app
Open “Storage & Backup” in the More menu to check what is covered, then check your most recent successful iCloud or computer device backup. The app does not provide its own server synchronization.
Keep separate copies of important PDFs using “Save to Files.” A PDF cannot restore the editable original, and simply reinstalling the app after deleting it does not bring back your previous data.
Does deleting PDF History also delete the originals?
No. In “PDF History,” More → Delete Entry removes that version stored inside the app. The current draft, original photos, and PDFs saved separately in Files or elsewhere are kept.
The current version does not provide whole-report deletion. Deleting a work item moves its photos to the unassigned photos. Deleting the photos themselves is a separate action.
What to include in an inquiry
Tell us which screen you were using, what you did, the expected and actual results, and the app version and build. You can find the version in the app’s Support or Storage & Backup screen.
Original photos and reports are not attached automatically. If you attach a screenshot yourself, hide names, addresses, customer information, and other personal information. If no mail app is connected, copy the contact address and send your message using your email service.
